Water Matters Society of Alberta is an environmental non-profit organization based in Canmore, Alberta. We focus on watershed conservation at a province-wide level.

Water Matters Society of Alberta was incorporated in Alberta on October 1, 2007.

Water Matters is a champion for improving watershed conservation in Alberta.

Our roles in watershed protection in Alberta are to:

• Conduct and promote timely and leading edge research and investigation;
• Provide and support outreach and education programs;
• Advance initiatives for watershed health;
• Work with others concerned about the protection of watersheds.
